ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Cruise Director position is a complex one. Beyond the PR, guest relation and hospitality functions, the cruise director also has to mediate possible conflicts that might occur in multicultural and multinational groups of passengers. Being a cruise director is an appropriate definition of intercultural communication management.
Added to that, you will also have to become a skilful tour operator and a good organizer.
Last but not least, you should practice that kind of good-taste, elegant humour of yours and deliver it in well-proportioned doses, especially when it comes to creative entertainment.
